‘The fates of the young Yazidi boys of Kocho were determined by whether they had grown pubic hair. Those who had were taken away in trucks with the men in groups of 30 to 40. These groups were taken to be executed by the so-called ‘Islamic State’ militants in large pits on the outskirts of their village.’

- Dawd Salim Bashar Loko
